Fado Português is a new Fado House in the region. Although it is not in Porto, it is very close and has views of Porto and Douro river. Run by the prestigious fado singer Sandra Correia, here you will find a familiar space to enjoy Fado.
For dinner, you can choose to consume à la carte or a special menu that costs 45€. It is open every day from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
What to Expect
This Fado House is owned by an excellent fado singer called Sandra Correia. There is, therefore, a better perception of how to provide a quality Fado experience.
In this simple and unpretentious space you may not see some of the luxuries of other Fado Houses in Oporto, but you will certainly enjoy an intimate and familiar environment, away from the touristy circuit of the Historic Center of Porto.
As usual in this type of place, you will enjoy a Fado show divided into several parts that are presented throughout the dinner.
Since Fado Português is open until later, you can also join in after 11:00 pm without having dinner.
Where is it?
It is located at R. Valente Perfeito 275, 4400-330 in Vila Nova de Gaia, in a residential area, near Gaia’s docks.
